Anyone still waiting for their Lindt Chocs from the She magazine offer? I have seen posts to say other people are getting email to say chocs all gone but have alternative offer. I've heard nothing. Does anyone have a number to ring,or email address?

competitions cafe - is there a cashback site that we can go through to get £4.80 back on our own subscriptions to e.g mens health 3 for £1? tia

Try Quidco.co.uk. Sometimes the payment per magazine subscription thats worth a pound can be eight pounds!!

I also wondered why Tamzin2006 often put the links after someone had just posted the exact offer(fair enough about mine as it was a big vague about ideal homes mag offer).
Anyway , i do agree if it is your site that its not on as like the ebay site on this website. We are not allowed to post our own listings. so naughty , naughty!
  • cashback rewards has magazine-group as a click through with £2 cash back. Just joined cashback rewards so I don't know how well they pay out.

Odd how tamzin has suddenly become very quiet in the last day or two.......
  • It's just a shame she wasn't upfront about her commission... let's face it, in this day and age, when you have to make every penny count, I have to admire her enterprising spirit! And her website is helpful (to me anyway) in listing all the available 3 for £1 in one place... I for one didn't know you could get cashback for magazine trials now that the quidco offer has been removed due to abuse, so if she had been honest and said 'if you click my link I can get money back for your trial' then I would have done regardless, cos if I can't make money off it then she may as well do! Lots of people on this board post referral links - usually alongside a non-referral link to so that people can choose... aren't we being a bit hard on her?
  • ... aren't we being a bit hard on her?

Nothing wrong with an "enterprising spirit" or with running a helpful website or running a business - but being dishonest, spamming the forum with links to your site, putting a false testimonial on your site, - plenty wrong with that. It would not be acceptable for a high-street name business to use dishonest business practices, spam forums, place false testimonials on their website - so why is it acceptable for a small 1 or 2 person business? It's a question of honesty - deceiving people is not an honest way to run a business and why should people support or trust a business which is run in this way wether it is a one person business or a major company.

In April last year it was also pointed out to Tamzin/aka Lisa that Quidco cashback was available for the offers she was posting: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=2040631&postcount=40 Despite this she continued to spam the forum with links to her site with no mention of Quidco, so that she could earn the £4.80 instead. (Quidco cashback on Magazine Group was only ended in July last year and cashback is still available on Magazine Group from cashback rewards [although they keep £2.80 and give you £2] and full cashback is still available via Quidco on some magazines from other suppliers: http://www.quidco.com/entertainment/magazine-subs/ - of course "Tamzin2006" chose not to mention this in any of her posts...) Over 2 years ago 'Tamzin'/(Lisa) (or her husband) posting under the username MalcolmOrd, was warned about spamming this forum with links to some dodgy pyramid scheme, and yet continued to do so - so ignorance of the forum rules is no defence.

The rules of this forum are clear, the poster knew about them but ignored them regardless - those rules are there for a reason and make this forum the helpful and friendly place that it is - if it was a free for all and anyone could publish links for their own monetary gain then it would not take long for the forum to be flooded with spam and the friendly, helpful community nature of this forum would soon be destroyed.

Yes I'm still waiting, too. Haven't heard anything and also need the email address.
I might be broke but happy but I'd happily not be broke!
