Yes, although always check the terms and conditions to be sure. Usually the 3 for £1 or £3 are advertised as a trial to see if you like the magazine with the hope you'll continue.
Regarding your other question I don't know, but I'm new to all this really, not like some others on here who are really on the ball.

I also got my confirmation letter saying they had reserved the two games for me. I Didn't get this with the Assasins Creed game but still got the game.

Sorry to hear that some people didn't manage to get the Assasins Creed game but surely it's the chance you take, afterall it is virtually a freebie - I've not got advertised gifts with subscriptions in the past and yes there is disappointment but hey a freebie is a freebie!

As for problems when cancelling - I simply cancelled the DD, no problems so far...... even the £8.50 for a games is a real bargain.

Im sure my friend got this offer earlier this month in the Instyle magazine but there were only 300 gifts or something to that effect. Just double check though

Sorry got the details when I was at the hairdressers. It was 2 products in a make up type of bag, but someone who has the magazine might be able to tell us what they are, alternatively I'll have a look in the newsagents on Monday

First 6 issues are £6 then £16.83 for the next 6 issues. It does say minimum subscription is 12 issues but I've cancelled on similar deals and not had problems.
