There will be better places than Halfords to get camping stuff.

I'm sure there are but having never done it before the idea of everything in one bag really appeals....seemed like a reasonable price for everything involved too.

It was one of those mad whimsical notions that in days gone past would have lead to a quick trip with the credit card....I did actually sit and work out just how many times I'd be able to use it this year... (3 seperate saturdays) and realised that it wasn't worth the investment.

    Hello eveyone

Had to call the mortgage company yesterday to get some figures together regarding buying out FL (aka MB).

Anyway, as I have never changed my payments with the drop in interest rate I discovered that I have been overpaying by £145 a month and have reduced my term from 21 years to 12.5 :T :T

    Hope everyone is well :D

I know it will go back up again because I have to buy him out and the rate is likely to go back up but I still feel a little sense of achievement :D

Camping takes a fair bit of organisation!

I agree with Lou, Luc! When you feel up to it and ready pack little man up and go! Tell us where and we'll meet you. DH would love it-he thought you and hubbles were really great (and DH is always shy when he meets people and takes a while to warm to them normally)

We can do a DFW camping weekend! Pepe, me and Snags and Spudly all have the gear that I know of! It'd be GREAT!

We're up for that:j Hubbles loves the idea:D Might need to trade in the 3 man dome tent for a 4 man frame tent though... I don't know who the men are that are used to size tents but they must be wee:rotfl:

    That's normal for BMW drivers!

Hubbles is a BMW driver - he is the exception that proves the rule (though I never did understand the logic of that comment:confused:)

I don't do camping... I'm far too much of a southerner for that nonsense.

:hello: hi everyone, I'm still around. I'm just working through some 'stuff' at the moment so on top of the pms which is dragging on this month I'm not much fun to be around :) I'm being a proper friend and staying the hell away from civilisation.
