TOYS aRen't US what a nightmare :(

Anyone had any probs with Toys R Us...i ordered 4 GBA games on the BOGOF offer beginning of December, all arrived squashed and 2 weren't even factory sealed. Rang customer service was told someone would ring me back, not a sausage so rang again, site down so asked me to ring back, was promised they would be delivered in time for christmas. Rang back, told to send the games back and would receive replacements. Emailed them several times and was still told would be delivered for christmas. It is now christmas eve, no sign of the games, so they have my money and my games...Just emailed them to cancel the order, what a nightmare, will never shop there or use their internet site again...sorry for moaning but i just had to get it off my chest.....

i thought i was doing well xmas eve when i called into toys r us to get a gameboy advance and some games for 1 of the kids, the others had all been delivered, but unfortunately some smart !!!!!! postmen thought it would be clever to take my package back to depot for collection on the 29th aarrrrgggghhhh

anyway i managed to grab the last one in store and some games, but xmas day kids opened em, same thing though not all sealed and one box was even empty no game in it, kids where unhappy and i was livid, what can i do about it now, what proof do i have, im gonna call in anyway and see what they say but im not holdin' my breathe that they're gonna beleive me :-/ ??? >:(

I had a similar thing with PC World. I bought an X-Box game, brought it home and wrapped it as a present.

When the game was opened on Xmas Day, it was the wrong one. The old version was in the box instead of the new version 2.

Took it back today and got an apology and an exchange for the proper game.

I thought I may have had problems with them believing me but thankfully they couldn't have been nicer.

I hope your problem is sorted as easily. :-/

Most stores accept that people generally wont go to the trouble of travelling to a store to make a complaint unless they are genuine, so most will accept there is a problem and sort it out.

cant get down till tomorrow. so will let ya know how i get on, fingers crossed they are as helpful as pcworld ::) ;D ;D ;D

Wont be ordering from them in future....their quality of goods and lack of service leaves a lot to be desired.....
