Advice/Help please.......

My partner Mrs Vwman and I are getting married in June next year, we are both in our 50's and Mrs Vwman would like to tie the knot on a beach somewhere warm (not Blackpool) or something out of the ordinary, and before anyone asks no I do not have a say in the matter, I've been told the date, and to turn up when the venue has been agreed by her he he he. :rotfl: only joking
As I've posted here needless to say money is not limitless so basically what I need is some advice/help as to location and ball park figure of costs.

i guess it depends whether you want a company to do all the sorting for you or whether you wish to do that yourselves? also of course location is going to have a lot to do with the final £££

you can get specialist wedding abroad companies who will sort everything out for you and liase with you via email / telephone etc but i should imagine that is much more expensive than if you DIY it

why dont you search and get a quote off some companies and see where you go from there ?

My stepdaughter got married on a beach in Jamaica. They'd both been married before and they both wore loose white shirts and white cotton trousers, flowers supplied by the hotel or wedding arranger.

You say money isn't limitless, but to get married on a warm beach anywhere you have to get there first. You can't get married on a beach at Blackpool or anywhere in the UK even if you wanted to!

So, think about a flight first.

Thanks for the replies, we've got a budget of £3k-£4k, depending on that we keep on saving at the rate we are, so hopefully we should find somewhere suitable.
