    Hi

I agree, I used to look in each day and contribute when they updated the website or when I was given codes as I am an early riser. I also miss the chatty banter and people sharing their problems and joys.

Also to mention that they are doing 6 x 63 Pampers wipes online for £3.66
i.e. 61p each pack. Not sure if this is in store but I find wipes useful for any manner of things, including sticky mitts, and they don't smell much which is a definite bonus.

Slightly OT, so apologies in advance, but I know how many Boots-ers love Soap & Glory....I was in Next today & sprayed a new tester that I hadn't noticed before, called Diamonds. It immediately transported me to Vegas & I couldn't work out why, but the smell was so familiar! Eventually it clicked - I'd taken my Soap & Glory minis on hols with me & the smell is almost IDENTICAL to Soap & Glory stuff. Its about £5 or £6 for a decent sized bottle (I think it was 30ml, online it only shows the 100ml for £12, but there was a smaller bottle instore), so anyone who loves the smell will love this. Its on my hand now & I've just been to the bathroom & checked my Flake Away - its definitely the same smell. A bargain price for a lovely fragrance!

I haven't found any bargains in awhile, but today witnessed an amazing NON-bargain. The woman in front of me had a basket full of body wash, toothpaste, shampoo and other items. I perked up and took note because I thought that surely must be a Bootser and I wanted to see what deals she'd found. Turns out none of it was on sale! She spent 55 quid! And there were no cosmetics or perfume or anything sort of "special" or even a premium brand. The shampoo really caught my eye, as it was Head and Shoulders and could've been had for 40-odd pence last month! Then she whipped out a staff discount card!!! So she works in the store and hasn't figured out how to buy a few toiletries for less than 50 quid?! Her total came down to about 48 I think with the discount, and I did wonder if perhaps she'd borrowed someone's staff card and that's why she was buying so much stuff, thinking she'd gotten a bargain for what us booters would've paid 10 quid for, at most!

look out for 50% off footcare vouchers instore. An SA was handing them out yesterday in a store I went into. It's 50% off all compeed, dartarin and neutrogena. If you have a £1 off WYS £4 mailing voucher you could probably use both vouchers together. Also, some footcare products (I think it's the athletes foot treatments) are on special offer with £1 off at the moment:D
  • I will keep a look out for those thanks. Though I don't seem to be suffering from athletes foot this year. It must be because it is cold and raining everyday. Great start to the summer holidays.
