beko fridge freezer

my beko fridge freezer has just given up the ghost...typically it was bought in may last yr so is just out of warranty.

should my 1st step be to call beko or under soga should i go to the store where it was purchased?

    Its the retailers responsibility but all they will say is you need to have prove of a inherent fault

    What you need to do is get a freezer engineer look in yellow pages and get them to prove proof

    IF beko can fix it free of charge then fine but Beko have a terrible CS I wouldnt touch Beko or its other company that have in UK with a bargepole

    The first thing I would do is contact the place you bought it from and see what they say. Just because it's out of warranty doesn't mean they don't have to fix it for you. And it shouldn't cost you anything to get it fixed or replaced. If they can't fix it for you or won't offer you a refund, you should be entitled to refund as I think this would fall under the sale of goods act, it's not reasonable for a fridge/freezer to last just over 12 months.
