Hi i have a bit of a problem.
i bought my ps3 just under 2 yrs ago with game in a debenhams store and now it is faulty (wont play blu ray or ps3 games) i called sony and they think the blue ray drive is broken but it would cost me £140 to replace it cause its out of gurantee.

My problem is i can still take it back to game and get at least some of the money back for cost of repair becuase its within 6 years and 2 years life out of something that cost £300+ is not reasonable. BUT i have lost my recipt and my bank statement says i shopped at debenhams and not GAME how am i going to prove to game that i spent the money with them and not debenhams , i also paid part cash part card .

can anyone help me

Even if you do find your receipt you're in for a fight trying to get anything out of Game after 2 years.......

just added to what is said above. even i you do take it back they more then likely charge you for a repair. had a quick look on ebay you can get a blu-ray replacement drive for £75.00 or a new blu-ray lens for £45.00 so if you fancy taking it in your own hands then you could save yourself a bundle, but if no then just let sony repair it, that said the replacement will hae a 1 years warrenty with it as well.
