Perhaps they'll ask you to assemble some flat pack furniture with no instructions?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
Perhaps they will ask you to do a "Work Trial" for a couple of hours0

Are you applying for a position at SSO or in a store? If you are applying for a store, are you applying for a management/expert role?
The interview is structured so may be longer depending on the position you are applying.0 -
The interview I had with them lasted about half an hour at most (and I got it). It was just for a shop floor post, and in 2004.
What kind or role is your interview for?0 -
You'd need more than 4 hours!maninthestreet wrote: »Perhaps they'll ask you to assemble some flat pack furniture with no instructions?

I once had a job interview lasting 72 hours (seriously!). Admitadly it wasn't for B&Q!
Maybe it's their way of getting cheap (free?) labour for a few hours if it's an in-store 'work trial'.
