Why is there not a Martin golf pic in the Masthead?

The ashes is still on so there is a clash.

Yes I know. The Ashes were on last week, this week and for weeks to come! It is a such a shame the Greatest Golf Championship in the world is on for 4 days and not being recognised in the usual MSE manner. Is it because it is being held in Scotland and Scottish? lol Whereas the cricket is England and English where MSE is based? lol I think MSE could have accommodated both with a bit of juggling of pics.

A fair point, however please don't bring nationality issues into this. We are a UK site as it says at the top of the page, and proud of it.

You really are struggling MSE Forum Manager....what part of lol do you not understand?...I was having a laugh...can you? The worlds greatest golfers are here in the UK, competing in the worlds greatest golf tournament and MSE have chosen to ignore it in favour of rounders lol...discuss/explain?!

I have to agree,some of the team lack a sense of humour,even when you put "lol" after a comment

I am English living within a stone throw of the Open, as a non golfer think Martin :A will have to be more discerning about his hats as well.
The World bowls champions are here next week. I am sure there are numerous other events he could support at the masthead instead of one sport for nearly whole summer.
maybe he hasn't tried any others ???

I have to admit, that having had the oversight highlighted, I am just a little suprised to see a great British sporting event spanning a mere four days continue to go unrecognised in favour of the England and Australia cricket teams playing a series of matches spanning over six weeks.
