Hi
i have been having probs with my hard drive so I have backed up loads of important files and have recently had a new hard drive fitted on my PC. One problem is that I didn't back up my emails or email addresses, I just thought that they would be all there once I had put my email client (thunderbird) on the new hard drive. There aren't any really important mails as I have those printed off, but is there any way I can retrieve the addresses? I have been on the "My media page" of virgin but can't seem to find any on my accounts. I'm sure at one point sometime ago you could see all your Inbox & addresses from there.
Cheers

In your back up have you backed up this location:
Vista
C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\tw1qops7.default\Mail\Local Folders
Xp
C:\documents and settings\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\tw1qops7.default\Mail\Local Folders
If you have the contents of this default thunderbird storage location, then you should be able to use this data file.0
