What do you think these are?

And are they worth anything?

I was helping clear out my Grandads tool shed and we found 2 gold coloured tokens, the same shape as a fifty pence piece and about the same size but about half the thickness. There is a pegasus in the middle and at the bottom it say 'ThankYou Token' and at the top it say 'Value'. One of them shows a sum of £14.97 and the other one is £13.97. Each token is exactly the same on each side.

He has no idea where he got them from and thinks they must be at least 15+ years old.

I've never seen anything like them before. Anyone out there have any ideas please.
