Yesterday I took a mega blocks helicopter back for a refund (was £10 and I paid £5). Sales assistant said it was a good job I had the receipt as it had been reduced again to £2.50!!! My little boy could have kept it for £2.50 but I didnt have the bottle to ask if I could buy it back again.
They had added more stuff to the sale - California Barbie £1.25 instead of £5.00 (male version was still full price so unfortunately he is still on the shelf all on his lonesome as his girlfriend is now in my present box) and mega blocks vehicles (set of 3) were reduced to £1.75 from £6.99. One vehicle on its own costs £2.75.
This was the Castle Vale store in Birmingham so it may be worth popping into your local Sainsbury's if you are passing just in case.0
