  • Hmmmm - maybe my idea of hot choccie when you've just said you've no milk in is not one of my better ideas. This is why I use our planning dept a lot at work!

Do you have to go to the shop now? Could you not pop over early doors before brekkie tomorrow?

    xx

Shop doesn't open till 8am and I leave for work at 7.45am, need milk for their brekkie tomorrow. I've got to go, just gotta be strong.

Only got £4.50 to my name but they have no problem in giving credit, hence all the alki's frequenting there :rotfl: not funny though really

    I'm here Jo.

I had a major wobble yesterday and bought 6 bottles of wine reduced to 3 for £10 in M+S then a discount for buying 6 ontop. Was feeling mega fed up for some reason and thought about having a glass or 2 - then decided against it. It was watching Economy Gastromony that set me off and Virgin Cooks as they chucked a load of wine in the cooking process and I thought "ooh that looks nice but I have no wine to add"

Now I have regrouped after keeping AF last night and will remain AF tonight and maybe have a glass tomorrow evening in a risotto or something similar.

I never say cooking progs as triggers but now they are including Sat Kitchen where they drink early in the mornings.

Hope you do ok tonight Jo - I might do some housework to occupy me a bit tonight rather than sit on the lappy all night again

Hang in there my dear - you can do it

Thank you all so much for the terrific support, as always :)

I'm off to the shop  I'll be back soon, once I'm back I won't be able to leave the house again tonight.

    Jo,

Be strong be strong don't let the tolling bells ring.

How will you feel if you have a drink - disappointed?

Walk in, on the way there say to yourself I am strong I am strong I can beat the metal can calling me - I WON'T give in

Walk straight to the milk section, then straight to the till, ignore looking at the bottles and cans, pay and walk out, big deep breath and big big smile!

Think - I did it, I DID IT, I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!

1 so far for me, YM :)

And that's today as I'm far too tired to go anywhere for wine & don't particularly want to drink any anyway!

Oh and just so you know, if I can't get to occupy my time I'll end up creating numerous pages of drivel on here, sorry about that but it keeps me sober, just skip it :p
