:hello:Hi all!

Have been away for a few days visiting my brothers (S Wales and Swindon) but back now and trying to catch up. I won't be AF again this month, got people coming round in a moment. I've made a lovely beef casserole and a crumble based on typical Bank Holiday weather but now the sun is beaming down!

Just wanted to say a big, big thank you to Miss Piggy for scoring in August :T:T:T:T

Hi all - sorry didn't mean to go awol! saturday was weird - I got bitten or stung by something on the palm of my hand at some point first thing in the morning, didn't feel it happen but later noticed the ball of my thumb had really swollen up & I couldn't move my fingers properly, & had a rash creeping up the inside of my arm :eek: so took an antihistamine. When I got to OH's he said I looked v tired (euphemism for looking v rough) I had too much wine ended up having a v early night & slept for 10 hours. Then yesterday we left DD & dogs being looked after & set off at lunchtime for a night away on the boat, my arm was still getting worse OH even suggested I should go to A&E. Thank goodness it's receding now. Goodness knows what it was, have never had anything of the sort before. Now it's just really itchy & there's a tiny pimple on my palm.

Anyway it was great to get away on the boat, only the 2nd overnighter this year due to various problems. Far too much wine, but no arguments, ready for a fresh offensive tomorrow. I know, I'm always offensive :rotfl:.

Back home now, waiting for the washing machine to finish so I can get a shower (water pressure problem!!). Feeling pretty ropy tbh. OH wanted us to pick up some stuff & stay at his tonight as well but I'm playing hard to get .

Well to say I'm depressed is just so far off the mark. Mr FH phoned his work because he had heard no response from them. Only to be told from Personnel that they were too busy today and would look into the issue tomorrow :mad: He has since heard that he isn't the only one in this situation, so it ain't looking good. To be honest, I have absolutely no idea what we are going to do. I can't go back full time because he is offshore 4 weeks at a time. He could maybe get his old (no prospects) job back. But carp pay and we would have no quality family time.

There's a guy coming round to see our beloved caravan tomorrow. We'll probably get enough with selling that to pay off the CC's. Then....who knows. I would rather sell the house than go back to living the way we used to. At the end of the day, the two boys are more important to me than money I don't want their life to change. Can't move from the area because DS1 has his friends and a great nursery.

I suppose there is still a glimmer of hope that tomorrow will bring good news. He is part of the Union and he says he will ask them to fight for him if it comes to that.

Oh, I'm just soo bl**dy disappointed I could cry. Best not though. Still at work.
