have a good day everybody. I think it's important we all look after ourselves and eachother. I'm going to make a cake, do some washing and then paint my nails and lie about reading a book! It's a nice warm feeling being part of this exclusive "club"!

When I first read that I thought you meant you were going to tell people you'd read a book when you hadn't then! Couldn't work out why you had to cover up your non-book reading :o

    Afternoon all....well just.

A paperwork morning today & now just settling down to a decaff & a read through here.

GC yes I know its my choice to put the bottles in my trolley or not & I completely agree with your sentiments. I was a smoker many years ago too & I think if the supermarkets plastered promotions of Silk Cut or B&H everywhere I would be back smoking again in no time as well. I guess I have to accept that I do have an addictive nature, I am susceptable to marketing temptation & my willpower will take a nosedive sometimes.Knowing this helps me deal with the situation to ignore the `shiny bottles`.

FH no booze sales after 10pm ...thats how it used to be here until round the clock drinking. Think its a good idea.

Jo..I have been known to do a few war & peace posts in my time too:D:D....I enjoyed your post ...keep `em coming Honey!!

To everyone else....have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday .
