This is the converse of the Ring and Reserve system - the price you pay is the price instore, not any other price. So if you return something you should only be given a refund for what it costs on the day - sometimes you win, sometimes you don't.
I bought a Gameboy offer pack a few weeks ago which included a "free" Scooby Doo game - online special only. When I took it back they refunded at the price instore, and gave me the full £29.99 for the free Scooby Doo game. WAHOO
And just to make it even better they sent me the £10 vouchers for spending over £100, even though I'd taken the items back.
So I ended up nearly £40 up on the deal. ;D
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • I'm all for a bit of conversing ;D Well Done!

I have a list of all Argos sale items at:

    http://www.letzshop.co.uk/argos-sale-items.php

Best deal is the reebok treadmill or christmas lights, which are reduced - depends what you want!

I also have the full Argos DB product list, so when the RO list is updated I can compare the new list with the old list to produce a list of products that are no longer stocked - which will hopefully mean they are also heavily reduced.

    Watch this space.

  • BLESS YOU!! ;D
  • Do you pick up the RO lists in store, when the new catalogue comes out?

Or do you trawl through the old and new catalogue looking for discontinued items?

    What does RO stand for?

    Thank you :D

For a cheaper way, ring: 0845 2443030 followed by 0035312161616# - this is 1p per minute.

Think this number is no longer usable now. Will try to find the post I'm thinking of and will post back to confirm.

    Found it:
.....was phoned last 2 weeks ago, nice Indian gentleman, explained that the access code was being changed and the number we were using to phone R & R with would no longer work after Monday past.
Herman - MP for all! :)

Just wondered if you have asked Martin about advertising your website on his website?
