Changing category in motors section.

I am selling a low mileage scooter and accidentally listed it with a reserve under parts and accessories not the correct section. I think most people trawl all items, I do but some do not. I have tried to list it in a 2nd cat but I am not allowed. Can I change it or am I stuck with it. Only option is to put a free list in the correct catagory to steer people to my sale?? any ideas It cost over 20 quid to list due to reserve set. Thanks

Why can't you change or add a category? Have you already a bid on the item? Is the listing about to expire?

If you really can't add or change the category your only options are:
(a) leave it as it is (and hope no one complains)
(b) end listing and relist in correct category.

I'm not sure what you mean by a free listing.
If what you are thinking of doing is creating another listing offering nothing for sale, just a pointer to your existing listing...DON'T; it will sure to be removed by ebay when someone alerts them.
(You are not permitted to create listings that doesn't offer something for sale)

Thanks, I will leave it as is. Most people look in all categories I would think, I do ,I think it makes sense??
