Oh and I'm starting a thread about Krap-Fit in the Warnings and Rip-Off Board. To warn as many people as possible. I'm really really angry about being lied to so openly :mad:spacey0

And I bet Dunlop would have told you the same had you followed my advice of contacting Dunlop directly..........It might be an idea just to see what they say anyway out of interest. Did you go back to complain to Krap Fit? Ask them to get another off the shelf, and had they fitted it new and you complained there was a blister without driving away, would they replace it or would they say what it really was i.e. a tyre wall joint line.
Well done to SK1N for spotting what it could have been :T0 -
It is illegal to have any gash or cut in a tyre. you don't know what damage has been done to the wires and ply behind the rubber. i wouldn't drive my kids around with a trye like that!! Don't have to have a spare by law but id you do it must e road worthy.0

I have been in 2 blowout situations and both were pretty scary, I am all for saving money but I would never risk my life to save a few quid.0

I agree, for the sake of, what.... £20-£30 can be all the difference between life and death. Also depending on how the tyre is loaded, it could go at anytime...motorway, sharp turns, roundabout etc.
OK this might just cause a puncture, but say your coming off the motorway and approaching a roundabout when the tyre goes....you'd probably have enough time to think
'I wish I had spend that extra £30 on that new........thud'
Think about it right...£30...or a life!
If you don't ask, you don't find out!0
