Advice on Best Card for Balance Transfers

in Credit cards
Hi Everyone
Have been reading the forums avidly over the past few days - and wanted to ask all you 'experts' if you could recommend the best 0% credit card for transferring balances to? I've just under £4K outstanding on four cards that I'd like to transfer.
I've a good/reasonable credit rating, and haven't ever requested any increases on my current cards, or applied for any new cards for about a year or more.
I just looked at the HSBC on-line deal for 9 months IF for balance and purchases - which looks a good deal?! But when I reviewed the criteria for acceptance, they state that they require a salary details. I'm Director of my own business, and draw only a nominal amount each month as a 'salary' until turnover improves... will this stand against me/is there a way around this?
Would be grateful for any help.
Many thanks.

If you don't already have an MBNA run card than that usually gives a good starting credit limit0

Virgin 0% for 9 months, but as it's an MBNA managed card, you'll only get it if you're not already a customer (they manage several other cards - see Martin's article on this).0

also, marks and spencer 0% for 9 months and no fee for balance transfers.0
