Hello amyk
I'll move your thread over to the 'Motoring & Public Transport' board, where it should get more views and responses.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Garmin i3 is your best bet at £130. There is also this Navman for £99 but it really isn't as good as the Garmin, honest!!! We've got 4 garmin i3's in our family!

Thank you, just got my first car, a 10 year old ford fiesta, the insurance is very reasonable, so as you can see, I don't want to spend more than the car is worth on sat nav, although I do need it, I think, as I have a terrible sense of direction and will probably start a new job soon in a new city I don't know very well! Thanks again0

There is the Garmin i2, the black and white version of the i3 for £110. I do think you'd regret not paying the extra £30 to get the colour one though.

It's not the sat nav that costs the money,it's the maps.Buying a cheap one may be false economy if you drive in obscure places as not all roads are featured on the cheaper models. If you want european roads you have to check that ALL roads and not just motorways are covered.
Do some research before you buy as cheapest is not always what is needed.Good luck hope you bag a bargain!Debt at highest £102k
