Managed to beat my existing insurer down to £295. Result

My quote from DirectLine was cheaper but with a £50 higher voluntary excess so it was a case of 'swings and roundabouts'. Decided to stick with my existing insurer to save all the hassle of having to get proof of my no claims discount.

:T well done Jenny, remember you can tell porkies to your existing company about quotes from others to get them to go lower:rotfl:

The other advantage of DL is that every named driver earns No Claims protection, which may come in handy in the future for the purchase of a second family car.
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

best to do is do the quotes online take note of the name of insurer and price when u get ur renewal ring up insurance company u are with and tell them u can get insured for the lowest price and they usually match it, thats what we did :)
