Just thought I'd let you all know about a really good experience I had in Debenhams yesterday. Went to get a new umbrella as mine was starting to fall apart. I and my OH were looking around the umbrella stand, comparing styles and prices - I had my eye on one with a smart J shaped handle but they were £18!! We found a basic one that was 25% off as it had no case bit, and just then we had the "Can I help you?" remark from the sales girl. We said our obligatory "no thanks, we're okay".
But to her credit, she was not deterred. She told us if we were looking for a bargain they had some old umbrella sets from Christmas that were reduced; had a fish around under the desk and bought out a set that had a pair of gloves in it too. It was under there because it only had one glove, but since we were only after a brolly she said it had probably been reduced even more. After a quick scan, she told us the price of said brolly.
£3.75!! For a very nice Totes umbrella with a silver J shaped handle to boot! Obviously I was sold, and very grateful! We both left saying how nice it was of her to find us such a bargain and I'm going to contact Debenhams later to say how pleased we were! :T

Well if you want to contact debenhams there should be a website on the bottom of your receipt. Its for a feedback survey and the feedback goes direct to the store you were in. You also get entered into a prize draw to win 1000 quid or an ipod. Not bad for 5-10 mins of your time!0
