    Well done OP!

Have to say though, do people actually use the yellow pages any more? I certainly don't, I use Yell or similar to search. In fact, as soon as my copy arrives on the doorstep it goes straight into the recycle bin and doesn't make it into the house.

I use it occasionally. It sits in the bathroom in case of emergency, the pages are surprisingly absorbent :rotfl:

I used to work for yellow pages so kinda have the inside line with this.

I'm not surprised the new rep sorted out the OPs complaint from the previous year, it was something I did an awful lot and was not liked by some of the managers I had, but if you want a refund/credit it is the sales people who need to push for it.

The xtra discount you were offered is available to all prospects, it is pretty genorous if you but the right ad size.

Whilst the useage figures of the Yell products are shifting towards Yell.com, the book still generates the majority of contact for customers, so although some on here no longer use it the majority of the population still prefer the printed book. (I worked in all three Yell mediums).

The "free" line entries are not guarranteed (they are space fillers and can be obmitted) and a larger entry should be used if only to stop returning clients being distracted, however you can get a website in the book by paying for lineage without going to a box (then move your free one to another section).

Can also get deals on the other mediums if you time the start dates right ;)
Everything is aligned with book dates.
