Nice to 'see' you Bookie, how was the flight?

Woohoo, bookie made it to the states.
 Morning babes, how's you?
Plane to Atllanta was cancelled last nite.
They put me up in a hotel (I have my own coffee machine) and I have to get a plane at 7am. Once I destressed it was a pleasant evening at the bar and an 'early' nite. Woke at your time though!0

            morning all - Hiya bookie!!!!!!!!
Monsoon is pending here too i think. Sky is very very grey and air is heavy....
Signed for flat last night...... so it's all systems go.
Big F is talking about all the improvements he's going to make to the house when we're gone, painting, decorating, new this, new that... i'm just like, yeah well whatever...
house looks kinda empty with stuff getting taken out every day... it's all the accumulated craap, photos, pictures etc that makes it into a home i guess.....
Didn't realise how cluttered it really was though... Have been chucking stuff out like a mad thing, and freecycled loads as well.... !! Trying to avoid taking the craap with me as once you've moved it, you never throw it out.....
Am going for a much needed haircut tonight at 530... just a dry cut, not had a haircut since Manchester!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0

Not sure if it was jetlag (I don't usually do it) or the 'need to catch a plane' syndrome. Plus a few text messages! :rotfl:
Not desperately impressed with Virgin. Ended up with a window seat as the guy next to me was with the family across the aisle and I am a nice person. Very little leg room. Food not great and they ran out of choices. Cereal bar for afternoon tea! They now serve drinks in measures not mini bottles to save the environment. :rotfl:They were trying to sell upgrades - meanies! We went through some lovelt turbulence on the was down. My bottom left the seat a few times and people were screaming. I thought it was fun!
I was lucky though cos Wednesday's flight was cancelled. I was very smug until I got to Washington and had to queue 3 hours for the Delta desk.
 Sorry - long post.0
