i'll be moving into a flat in 2 weeks time. is it possible to ask for bt connection now itself so that i'll have the bt line when i move in 2 weeks.
there is a tenant living in the flat currently, can i ask bt now or should i have to wait for the current tenant to move out then request for the new bt.
thanks.

If you want BT as your land line provider you can call them as soon as you want and ask to take over the line and put it in your name.
this will be a 12 month contract if you agree to sign up with BT.
Its best to do it now as taking over a current line takes 2 weeks anyway.
If the current tenant stops the line you can take over the connection in 2 working days.
This all depends though on the line being an openreach line. If it an LLU line you can still take over it but a charge may apply and if its an LLU line that is stopped a charge will apply.0
