Pool MSE experience to help me find a great B&B/Hotel in London?

Can you all help? My uncle, wife and 7yr old cousin are coming to London in August for 10 days and want somewhere nice to stay.
It would be really helpful if you could recommend nice places to stay, preferably places that you've stayed at and have experience of.
I have been searching on the internet but it's so hard to find a decent, reasonably priced hotel using the regular search engines. I even tried Travelodge but it would be nicer to offer them somewhere with a little more character or English 'charm'!
If you have any ideas or have stayed at any fab places then please let me know. The location doesn't matter too much but has to have transport links so close to a tube/decent shops would be great.

You should do a search on https://www.venere.com - lots of honest reviews and info on there about each hotel. Reasonable prices too, and you can get 4% off with the code: BK5HX8W
Hope that helps0 -
https://www.londontown. com they will not be beat on price.
I use it all the time and it is great.
"Reasonably Priced" is a subjective term you need to quote hard cash figures you want to pay.
If "reasonably priced" means dirt cheap Brittania Hotel Primrose Hill will be your best bet.
The link below is to cheap hotels which are 1 or 2 *

Touch lucky with londontown.com and you can get a 5* hotel double room for £99 (per room)0 -

Does it have to be a hotel? I rented a really nice apartment right in the centre of London from a chap on Ebay, was big enough to sleep 4 comfortably had its own parking and even had access to a pool! Worth having a look on ebay, as far as I know he still advertises it.0

The Luna and Simone B & B is a lovely family run B & B in Pimlico - about 10 mins walk from Victoria bus station and 15 mins to Pimlico tube station. The number 12 bus leaves from across the road and goes to Trafalgar Square etc via a really pretty route along the Thames. Comfortable rooms with ensuite and full English breakfast.
Type of room MINIMUM MAXIMUM
Single basic £35.00 £45.00
Single en-suite £50.00 £60.00
Double en-suite £65.00 £85.00
Twin en-suite £65.00 £85.00
Triple en-suite £90.00 £105.00
Quad en-suite £100.00 £125.00
No lift, so ask if you need to be on a lower floor. Owners and staff are lovely and will give lots of tips and advice on how to get around London etc.
Closer to centre and a bit more expensive is The Strand Palace Hotel. Three star hotel on the Strand, minutes away (walking) from Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, theatres etc. The lobby of the hotel looks much grander than the fairly basic rooms but the staff are friendly, the location is amazing, and depending what you want to do you might save time/money by splashing out more on the hotel and saving on tube fares. Best to shop around the hotel finder websites to get the best prices, the rack rates are astronomical! I have paid £75 ish for a double without breakfast by shopping around.
Hope this helps!
