if you type the window code into google should find other companies who sell them we did this and got ours from hungary got a cream blackout blind for our fairly large velux window for £40
should find number printed on window or on frame its very long0 -
Fix curtain wire top and bottom and make a fabric panel with the hems either end sewn so that you can thread the wire through. You can then pull it to one side if you want it opened, or unhook the bottom wire and roll the panel up and tie it.
Or use dowel to make a cafe rod for the top (it can be held on by cup hooks), then make a blind that fits on this, with a narrower dowel at the bottom with hooks to fix it too when you want to shut it, and ribbons/fabric strips to tie it up.0 -
When we were looking for blinds for our Velux windows we searched the web for alternatives. In the end we paid about a fiver more for each one to have the genuine article and I am so glad we did. I am not the best DIYer in the world but the Velux blinds are so simple to fit, they really have thought about the process. I fitted 3 large blinds in about 15 minute total. When I told my wife I had finished she was really impressed that I had done it so quick, even when she thought I meant I had only finished 1! When I told her I had done all 3 she nearly passed out!0

Olias, If Cady doesn't need and you have any that would fit GGL M04?
