I checked the electoral role and I can see his details are lodged there but I cant access them. He has no info on FB (he sent me a FR way back so I have access to his profile). The letting agent who is currently looking for a new tenant gave it to me. I can find all the numbers in that street but his house number. So either I was given the wrong one, or it doesn't exist. Off to email eagerlearner...been on her blog all day today, and recently downloaded her budgetting spreadsheet-she really is making an appearance in my life this week:)

Right, Letter sent (incomplete post code and all), was registered mail so if it's not signed for we'll know right? So where to now?

ETA: I paid my £4 due to check the land registry to find his residential address but he has registered it as his to the same address. ie, the only address on the rgister is the rental property address.

He has paid back £600.00 of our £807.00. Now I cant imagine that that rug was worth that much and I want to dispute it, where do I take it now please?

You need to proceed exactly as suggested before. Fill out N208, submit your claim to the courts and await a court hearing date. Nothing has changed since then.
