I am giving serious consideration to this company who offer warranties for cars and bikes - http://www.warrantyworks.co.uk

A three year platinum warranty with a £2500/claim limit for my motorcycle costs less than a one year warranty from BMW.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I have a warranty from warrantyworks, they have paid for many repairs so far, from a £700 clutch fault to a £20 reversing light switch, bloody Rovers!!

It does only cover "mechanical breakdown" as opposed to wear and tear, i got "lucky" with the clutch as it was the slave cylinder that failed rather than a worn clutch plate.

Also they have an upper labour rate, it was £35 per hour, which didnt even cover the £40ph at my local backstret garage.

go with peugeout, they wont try to swquirm out of any claims.
  • I don't know about Warrantywise in the past, but their reviews recently have been very positive. I have a policy with them and have never had a problem with any part of their policy, its even been written by Quentin Willson!

There is a very interesting discussion about them on boxa.net entitled "Now that the Tesco Finest warranty is no more..., What is everyone going to do?" where the director has been talking on the actual forum if you're interested...

As far as I go though, they have always been superb!
