To drain down system / cut back pipework services and remove boiler, cylinder, radiators, tanks and associated pipework & controls.

Supply and installation of a Condensing gas Combination domestic hot water (taps) and central heating (Rads) boiler.

Output. 28kw DHW Flow rate. 11.5LPM

Location. As existing

Supply and installation of 7 steel panel convector radiators in appropriate positions to give 20*c in non living areas and 22*c in living
room at an outside temperature of 0*c.

Supply and installation of chrome plated Towel Rail

A programmable room thermostat will be installed to control time and temperature of heating system. (located as existing)

To supply and fit thermostatic rad valves for individual temperature control to all rads except hall & bathroom

Existing gas supply from meter

To use existing condense waste pipe

Commissioning / system flush and final chemical cleanse / inhibitor addition / customer handover > all carried out on completion of work.

All work will be carried out by qualified engineers to all relevant codes of practice and regulations in force at time of installation. All
redundant materials will be removed from site on completion.

Boiler 2 years (subject to manufacturers conditions) - Pipework carried out by us 5 years.

Total Estimated Cost £2825.00 (£3248.75 inc vat)

That sounds pretty good to me! Im in the same boat as you and am currently getting quotes to have central heating installed from scratch in my 2 bed flat.

Ive been quoted £2736 inc VAT for a Viessmann 26KW Combi boiler, 6 rads/thermostatic valves and digital controls.

Bare in mind your having all of the old stuff removed first, plus a bigger install in total.

My price is the absolute best I have found and therefore If I was you, I'd be happy with the quote!

btw, ask about a Viessman boiler, they come with a 5 yr warranty as standard

I've had another quore in yesterday that was a little higher so I think I will go with this one. Was a lovely bloke too -- small local business ... located in the same street as our new home!
