    Steve, one though occurred to me, check your home insurance to see if you are covered for legal assisstance. My missus was recently made redundant (unfair dismissal) and my home insurance paid for a Solicitor of our choice to take on the case. Her former employer coughed up a week before the tribunal - but all of the solicitors fees were paid for AND with no excess to pay either.:T

    Make sure the accident is listed in the Accident Book to ensure it is recorded if you need proof in the future. See how your injury goes, and if it leads to long term pain/injury then you should consider taking legal action. I assume you are being paid whilst you are off work, so why would you need to take it any further at the moment.

    Accidents happen, and provided there is no lasting damage, there is no need to Sue them.

    Unfortunately some people will scream 'compensation' first, and facts later.
