Natwest are offering a Platinum card with 15 months at 0% for BTs. This is only for customers of Natwest and it does include those with credit cards.
I already have a natwest platinum credit card so I was unsure if it would apply to me. I rang them yesterday but the woman didn't really seem to know whether it was worth me applying for the card, she didn't really seem to understand herself.
I need a new BT card, do you think it's worth me trying this one? Or going for Abbey instead, which has the a deal going for the same rates. For soem reason I keep thinking that Natwest might be more likely to accept me cos they know my record.
Stats: I have five or six cards at the moment, but only two with anyting on them. I'm in the process of closing some of them down. I've never been turned down for a card.

I'd go somewhere else if I was you. The HSBC BT fee is cheaper than Abbey's, and they probably have better customer service/quicker account opening.
You're cutting it a bit fine though on closing the other accounts down in readiness for shifting the Egg & Capital One debt?0 -
Yeah, I know. It probably won't happen and I'll take my chances that Abbey gives me the card as is. The probelm is that I wanted to ring round my current cards first to see if any of them would give me a good BT deal before I applied for yet another card. So far the best offer is 3.9% at six months so if all else fails I'll go for that.0

Oh - I thought I already had an HSBC but just checked and it's not showing on my experian report; does that mean I closed it more than 12 months ago? Can I apply for one again?0

Oh. Just called HSBC and it's for their current account holders only.0

Called ABbey and got the card. Not quite as high a limit as I need, but it just means I'll have to work harder to pay off the excess.
Realise I'm talking to myself here but I'm pleased to haev got it!0
