Basically in getting rid of my OH/carer. I kind of overtook the daily chat last night talking about it. He's not very supportive, and in fact tries to stop me having control and making decisions in my life. So I've told him not to come back from Italy at the weekend, I don't want him living here anymore. He's been away for a month and I've been getting along fine without him.
sorry i missed the chat last night...
wow this is amazing, well done you. Having met you in Leeds you do seem to be a really capable and strong person. I guess with ME there are times when you do need more support, but it seems you've got a good rebuilding of your relationship with your sister going on, so it's gonna be fine i'm sure. and you'll know when you start to feel it getting too much.....
Plus it is easy for GP's and care services to let carers bear the brunt of what needs doing, but the fact is, if you don't have a carer as such i'm sure they are obliged to make sure you get support....
well done on making the break hun. you'll do just fine.. i know it!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Aaarrgghh!! Just gone to get something out of the freezer to cook for my lunch, only to find that our housemate must have left the freezer door open last night!! Luckily quite a lot of the food was in the drawers so has stayed frozen but im now having to cook a whole load of fish fingers, waffles and various other things that have defrosted!! Going to kill her when she gets home from work cos the last thing we need is to be wasting food!!Time to get things sorted once and for all......0
