dissolution of business partnership???

not sure if this is the right place to put this here but anyway worth a go. my fiance has a newsagents that he used to run with his ex girlfriend.they split nearly 3 years ago and she has had nothing to do with the business for the last 18 months to 2 years. he has had to deal with all the debts and since we have been together we have sorted alot of this out, been alot of hard work but am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. we would like to take her name off of the shop, there was no signed partnership agreement as far as he can remember, but wonder how we can go about this without having to pay too much for it all. she put very little in to the shop and he put his house as the charge. please need advice asap. thanx
