Having just purchased a new computer with Vista, I'm not sure how I can access Outlook Express to see all my old files. I suspect I'm missing something obvious, could some kind person point me in the right direction, please? Thanks.

Copy your old computers .pst file to your new computer.0

You need to export your outlook express file (File \ Import & Export) as a .pst file.
Save it onto a memory stick or other removable device
Then use same option on your new PC to import the .pst file back
I suspect your new vista PC may not have ol express but you should be able to do exactly the same using the Microsoft Mail program0 -
Outlook Express became Windows Mail on Vista machines. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Just import your address book and emails into Windows Mail on the new PC.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I'm sorry to be thick but could someone give me step by step instructions for doing this. It's obviously easy peasy for experts but I'm not one of those! I ended up looking at .csv endings and getting nowhere!!0
