disabled car tax

Hi,

I'm buying a second hand car that had disabled tax on it ,obviously this had to be surrendered as it can't be passed on with the car.................do I have to go to a local office to get it taxed now,apparently the post office can't do it



is this right and if so will I hit any other problems :confused:


please help if you can:D

    The car is registered as a disabled vehicle so you would need to have it's class re registered to Private this does mean either going to your nearest office preferably as it's quicker than sending away

    ah now I understand ,thank you for the info and link julesjr.....I've being on the dvla site growing round in circles:D ..................I know what I need to do now and where my local office is thanks again,your a star:T
