The whole 'independant student' fiasco....

Options
this is in further response to my thread 'do students get punished for having a part time job'.

Im assuming that SF will get in contact with me to ask whether i have evidence of my mum's/household income? OR, is this not even in the equation if i am an 'independant' student? I've applied 'income assessed' , so does that mean i have to send them income evidence in the post? Just seemed strange that they didn't ask how much the household income was when i filled out the online application....

Cheers!
Emma

Well they don't just trust you by entering the amounts online. They will ask you to send information to them.

Theres plenty of other threads that mention this, but basically:

    1. You say your independent

    3. You provide evidence, eg. Wage slips, letter from employer, benefit claims (Assuming you are under 25), or just by you being over 25.
    4. You either get it, or not. Simples
