Warranty repair

I have had my phone in for repair with Carphone warehouse for 2 and half weeks. When I originally took it in I was told that it would take 24 hours.
A week after being told that they finnally said it had been sent away for repair. How much longer should I wait until I could reasonably ask that a replacement phone is given to me as they have taken an unreasonable time to repair it?
Or do I just have to wait until it is repaired?
