Hi
I am made redundant in one week after 31years. I have a mortgage of £85,000 and i am a band C on the Communuty Charge. My outgoings for bills come to aproximately £1,200. I live alone and not sure if there is any discounts that may be on offer, until i find a job, and how you go about this.
Can you give me any advise of who to see or where to go.

Do you have capital/ savings above £6000?
You need to claim Jobseekers Allowance. After thirteen weeks, you will qualify for help with your mortgage interest. You will get help with your Council Tax as soon as you claim JSA.Gone ... or have I?0 -
