Gumtree - is this reply a scam - it feels like one

I agree that the comment 'your item' suggests this is dodgy. I have bought several items from Gumtree and the transactions have been fine but I think it is very much to do with the feel of the respondant. I also like to talk to the person first and pay by Paypal for extra protection.0

Gumtree is like any other site, most ads are genuine but it does bring scammers like this out of the woodwork and this is a very obvious one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
