I'm a member of the new Plymouth group among others. IT stuff is often advertised here for the taking, along with a load of other stuff you may be able to use.

There's a sticky over on the main small biz & charities board which has a little bit of info about IT kit, but I can't vouch for its up-to-date ness.
Otherwise freecycle is a good place to look. Or putting an appeal in your local paper.Signature removed for peace of mind0
