Espares - Kosher company ?

I'm looking around for a spare part for my oven, have found what I need on Espares.co.uk.

Quick question - has anyone got any experience of this company, good or bad ?

I only ask as I originally ordered the same thing from Spares2Go - big mistake ! Bunch of rip-off merchants. Thankfully my credit card company were brilliant and refunded me with no problem ( Tesco Personal Finance, by the way, top notch customer service which is a rare thing these days ! )

But, once bitten and all that .... So thought I'd try and get some opinions on Espares before I order..

Many Thanks.

    Used them twice, no problems.

You used to get cashback on quidco. Worth checking!

They have a company representative on MSE who is exceptionally helpful if you have a problem.

    Many thanks, folks.

I must say, I've bought loads of stuff online before and never had a problem - was just worried that I was perhaps becoming too complacent. Looks like Espares is one of the many legit companies :-)
  • Hi Ebe Scrooge,

I'm Samara from eSpares. I would like to assure you that we're a fully legitimate company.

You might know me from Moneysavingexpert forums. I use to work for Madasafish and was quite active in the Internet area of MSE forums. You can see from my past work that customer service is really important to me.

If you have any questions about appliance spares or an order you placed with us please feel free to PM me and I'll be happy to help.

    Kind regards,
    Samara

Thanks for the post, Samara. I've now placed my order with eSpares, and I'm sure I'll have no cause to PM you - in the nicest possible way :-)

Just like to endorse Espares too.

I used them when the filament went on my cooker, the price was v reasonable and the transaction from start to finish was faultless and completley stress free.

Espares are good if the item is in stock. I've had next day delivery then, at good prices.
If it's out of stock the order is still taken, as is the money, and after a week or two the part may arrive, or I have had to get a refund after several weeks, and buy elsewhere.
That's the only bit that lets them down really, a live stock check would be helpful.
