Cycling & hit by car- can I claim?

    Thank you for that advice, appreciate that, I wouldn't of thought to look into my house insurance so will investigate that further.

    Not true actually, I've had very few dealings with them. The only ones I've ever come across are the firm I mentioned earlier, and I had a good rapport with the case handler there.

    I like to think that despite being on the opposing side, I deal with claimants fairly. In fact if I ever have a claim from a cyclist, I have particular sympathy as I cycle to work myself and know how idiotic some drivers can be.
