Hello ladies. well I have been bleeding slightly overnight, soo phoned my consultant instead of the gp.
I managed to speak to the consultant who was going to start me on clomid officially. You know the really nice one. Any how, he said in his words "I can see you are not going to stop worrying until you have a scan, so I am prepared to let you come inot the private clinic today and I will scan you to make sure all is ok. Could you possibly get here within the next 1hr, I can scn you during my lunch break.?) I reply "oh are you sure, I really phoned you for some reassurance, you dont have to do this"
His response "no dont me silly, you and your partner have been through enough, so lets get this done today, you can then relax over the weekend"
Long and short of it, had the scan, Im 5wks 3 days and have what the doctor described as not one but 2 little heart beats. OMG! I have a picture. you cant really see to much but I would love to share it with you all. but dont know how to post it on here??
Anyone know how to do it please, so I can show you all.
I am sooo relieved. he seems to think it is just a little blood from the lining etc as things are moving around in their so to speak, and like he said, I have gone from having no periods at all. to getting one from nowhere to getting pregnant. Im still on edge at the moment though and will continue to take it easy for a while.
if someone knows how to upload it onto the site can you pleeaseee let me know, I really want to show you all the picture, it looks amazing. (well probally just to me but hey lol)0 -

Use photobucket.com.... make a user, upload pic to it then you should have options on the pic to copy (I use the last one in row) click on it then on here right click mouse and paste.
Hope that makes sense:o:rotfl:

You don't usually have a heartbeat until 6 weeks but did the doctor say you were only 5 weeks?

No 5wks 3 days, but it was good, he even used the 3d machine. He did um and arrr over dates etc as my last period was (first period for yrs) was june 10th very slight blood then floods by the 12th. I dont know how they work it out to be honest, I was just sat gawping at the sreen with my other half going omg can you see that, omg can you see that, he then at that point said omf***god can you see that at which point my consultant looked up and said "I will let that one go considering the circumstances" lol.
Looking at my diary I have the dates as 6wks 2 days. anyone have any idea how it is done, im sure he must be right they do it all the time, but other half also said about heart beat at 6wks, do you think I could be in the 6wk catergory then, he said 5wks 3 days. Ohh I hope im further lol. I know it is only a few days give or take but 6wks is better for me, the further the better lol.
Right im gonna go try and load this pic uo for you all to see.0 -

OMG Kenco! Wildest dreams springs to mind! I hope you're buying a lottery ticket with such a luck change! Oh I would so love to see that rubbish old GP's face when you tell him twins conceived naturally! What absoloutely truely amazing fantastic news! I didn't think it could get any better but clearly it can! What a lovely consultant too, thank heavens there are people like him out there and not all like your GP. I'm so so pleased you went for that second opinion, at the very least you would have probably been sat here worrying if you hadn't met him and him offering to do the scan.0

Kenco Your OH's comment made me laugh - it's the kind of thing my OH would say (& get told off for :rotfl:)
Your LMP (give a day) was the same date as mine & I'm 5 weeks 4 days today but that is worked out from my LMP (31 day cycle) & not a scan. Scans are more accurate. So we might end up with the exact same due date!
Maybe they can sometimes see the heartbeat a little earlier or maybe the measurements aren't 100% that early on for dating. I know they say the earlier the better but that is very early.
I'm waiting till I'm over 6 weeks for a private scan so I can see the heartbeat but that means that my bean might have one already - how exciting!
