Afternoon all, back from the gauntlet that is Nuneaton town centre.

Feeling like I'm sucking a spoon at the mo, keep getting metallic tastes in my mouth, which I know is a symptom, but I'm putting it down to my fillings as they're new. I've looked on some websites and they confirm it could be due to that

Smartie, a 3 month AF? Geez thats not good! My mum had something similar, she bled really heavily for about 6 weeks, ended up in hospital just before one of her birthdays and she's now taking tablets to stop it happening again (at least thats what I think they're for!!)....not a good way to celebrate

Kmckee, hope the tattoo wasn't too painful, and can we see some piccys??

EA, good luck for tonight hun

Think I'm going to have a nap this afternoon and get on making my Nana's birthday present, got so many birthdays this month it's not even funny!! Got to find a present for my dad too, what do you get them man who has everything???

He wanted this RC Tarantula to wind his persian cats up, but I can't afford it at the mo. I've got him a t-shirt and will send him chocolate, but nothing sounds good!!

nunny - I have that same taste in mouth BUT I always seem to get it:rolleyes:

My bar of chocolate last night did not taste at all good :(

Yes my 3 month AF was horrid! Wasn't heavy luckily. I'm not one for going docs (even though i have a chronic ilness:o) but did go in the end because I was so fed up with spending loads on "ladies things"!!:rotfl:It happened about 8 years ago and I still dread my AF not stopping!

I had some good news this morning from one of the shops I supply.... they want more of my jewellery:j And my website is very nearly done... DH has been struggling to find time to do it because of working all the time (even though he has day off today and is playing silly online game!!)

Im all packed for my holidays leaving tomorrow afternoon back up to the middle of nowhere in my mums house with my wee box of preseed and OV tests as its due over the next few days OH is meant to get his "sample" results on Friday which is a bit of a pain but if his are all clear its my turn and Im TERRIFIED!!!!! of needles like to the point I throw up when my diabetic friend has to do hers.

Hows everyone anyway sorry to hear about big long AFs I had one that lasted 5 months and the doctor said "its cos ur fat" and never got any pills or anything until i passed out from lack of blood and sorry about long cycles too that must be rubbish! Id be POAS everyday and spending a fortune!

LilDevil - I believe that an upset stomach can be a symptom of pg....my sister had it something chronic the 1st few weeks:rolleyes: Eating bananas is supposed to help(dunno why tho!) and plenty of fluids, if you're still unsure you should get checked out!
Don't want any piggy sickness in this thread Thank you very much:p

Thank you, I was hoping that wasn't the case - I've been really bad with them since Friday :o I don't know how much more of it I can stand - I'm so hungry but everything gives me really bad tummy ache followed by a mad dash to the loo.

I know I should be asking on the other thread, but it goes so quickly and as I only found out for sure on Saturday, I don't feel comfortable moving over yet!

Iguana, cute!! I'd LOVE a reptile or some sort, but haven't really got the room for one.

That's bad what your doctor saying about your long AF being down to you being "fat". An old school friend of mine had AF for about the same length of time as you and she was tiny! 5'6 and about 7 stone!
