What is a HSG? Sorry for being thick polka. Glad your well and lurking though. xxx
Thank you!!! I thought I was the only one that didnt know what it was. Now wait for it...Im copying it directyly from the NHS booking letteer. It's called a hysterosalpingogram-the letter describes it as:
    a) Similar to a cervical smear
    b) A small amout of colourless dye is put into the uterus and x-rays are then taken.
The consultant explained it like this:
" Its so we can get a picture of if your tubes are clear, they'll put a tube into your uterus, fill it with liquid and it'll expand into your tubes to take a photo". No, he didn't bat an eyelid. I'm very prone to panic attacks-not sure how I'll cope with this...the c-section was easy-I was NUMB!
  • I've got my BFP!!......ok, on my OPK :D:p I am so flippin' happy about it!!!!!!! Amazing!! And it came up STRAIGHT AWAY!! As soon as the colour passed over the lines, they both came up, and within 20 secs the line darkened MUCH more than the control line :D:D:D I know, I'm pathetic, but I'm so damn happy about this, as 1) I know that I'm ov'ing and 2) This means I'll have an even shorter cycle than last time!!!! :D

    Questions:

Do I count tomorrow as OV day, and then thurs as 1DPO? Or should I say thurs as OV day just in case?

Now lets hope hubby will succumb to my seductive charms ;) He was happy when showed him the positive OPK, but he's *ahem* having a little trouble with his *tries to think of a suitable term* winky-woo-woo? :rotfl::rotfl: He got thrush from the strong antibiotics from the accident (passed it on to me ) but although it's cleared, he's been left a bit "cracked" so it's kinda painful for him at the moment. *Gets really TMI now* But maybe I can convince him that the EWCM will make him all better :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Wish me luck please!

Oh polka, I'm so sorry AF got you :( :grouphug: I hope this month is successful.

Hi all, just been lurking, my bleeding from D&C seems to have stopped now and was intending to get straight back into it....
however, I have an interview for a new job tomorrow!!! I have been in my job for 7 years now, and have been having a really carp time of it wth my new boss recently and am really hating the place now, as are the rest of the staff, so bit the bullet and applied for this new job, I told my boss' boss today and he was great about it he know the Doctor who runs the genetics department and gave me loads of things to say at he interview so fingers crossed:D That does however put me in a bit of a bind about what to do about the baby thing, should I wait a few months??
  • hi i was wondering if u could please help me
my period seems to be really late i think as im on the pill and the 7 day gap has lapsed without a period. the first day of my last period was 23 July. i took a pregnancy test but it came up negative i also had some spotting about 2 weeks ago which i have NEVER had and been feeling rather sick and also weeing alot which seems strange but not sure if they are symptoms as dont know. I'm 24 and got engaged on saturday so could be the shock (nice of course) of that but i would have still been late.

    Help please xxx

    Hello everyone

    I've been lurking
Smartie holding everything for you hun, I had a look at your website just now, really pretty. How long have you been beading? And selling? How does it do? I started beading when I was waiting to come over here-used to sit for hours beading-now I mostly only do cake jewellery...more stuff on the "to do list" for when DS goes to nursery.

I've been doing it for about 4 years and selling for 3 and half ish years. Website is only just up and running so no sales yet but it's selling well in the shops that sell it for me :)

snugglepants.... thought you had a BFP as in BFP for a while there:rotfl:Congrats on OVing;)

Nice to see you Cat... Good luck with interview! Not sure what you should do about babymaking. I looked into doing a course starting in October but ends in May. Bean that might be there would be due then:rolleyes:

princess... hmmmm:confused: I'm pretty sure it'll say in info leaflet with your pill that if you miss a period you should get checked out. Maybe try another test then go docs.

    Think thats it for now:D
