My news that I didn't have time to type was that OH is applying for 2 things in the hope he gets one. Firstly, a PhD down at Bangor Uni which is right near where my sister lives so he'd be down there Mon - Fri. So rather than renting we are looking at buying a caravan so we can also use it as a holiday home (though I think most sites shut for 2 months out of the year) and I get to see sis and nephew more as well then. Thats if he gets on the PhD anyhoo.

The other is a job with Man Met Uni which would involve a trip or trips to the Kalahari Dessert. Which would be very exciting (for him...not for me). Either way both offer better prospects and would take us closer to our emigration dream.

On a slightly different note, I'm going to go to an open evening at Uni of Man to find out how to get on their Educational Psychology course. I want to find out how I'd go about doing it and what experience I'd need etc. The whole purpose of me teaching was to do that - and I still want too, but it's very hard to get into and would mean another 3 years of study!!

Bah! Trying to decided if it would be worth it and when I could do it if we did get a bfp!

morning all,hope everyone had a good weekend? i had a nice surprise today from oh of flowers n breakfast in bed after a lie in!think he may want something lol. Had a strange achy feeling all day yesterday not sure what it was,oh kept saying 'your pregnant' not so sure myself only had my thing out a week and half ago and didnt start b'ding again till a week ago so it would be way too soon.still got my hopes up tho!!

Nunny, Its cute because he has curls lol if I dont get up and straighten it(which isnt likely as he starts at 7 during the week) It just flops over lol

That stupid man still isnt here yet and Im bored he said 12. I rushed to clean the house so he didnt think I was a slob, Almost died of a coughing fit about 12 times doing it, got myself presentable make up on hair done the tanks all cleaned out and hes late:mad:

Right MMC says my next AF is due on the 15th so I'll put my test date down as the 20th given what happened with my cycle last month. Then I can start using my cbfm....very exciting!!! :j

Confuzzled he wanted to get the celtic crest tattooed on his chest but it was fiddley and detailed and the wanted £150 for it which we didnt have and at the same time there was this little tart harrassing him at his work she was texting at 2 in the morning inviting her to his bed and stuff and it was really upsetting me so it was to "prove im the only wuman he wants"

I've been out on my dinner and expected to come back to at least a page full of chitchat, and there's hardly any:eek: I'm disappointed in you girls:p

Btw anyone know where I could get a metal detector for a 6yr old for under £20 Damn nephew wants one and the toys r us and argos near me aint got them in:mad: The lad does it to me every year:rolleyes:

Sorry, have not been chatting as have a) had something *actually work* at work! Hurray!!! b) had to renew the house insurance - god I hate doing that, its so tedious and c) I'm feeling really sick. Bah.

And I don't have a metal detector for you confuzzled, sorry

Blurgh, house insurance! I hate looking for that, but I find travel insurance worse.....been looking all morning and still can't get a decent quote!:mad: I blame DH for a having a pre-existing medical condition:D

And no metal detector Bitzer??? - how rude!:p I need it by Sunday as well:(

I'm doing my uni assignment. I really want to quit, but then if I want to be a doctor of educational psychology I probably should stick with it. I'm just worried about leaving teaching after all the effort I put in to getting here.

Been trying to catch up with work today, plus all the competitions that I didn't enter cos of being away!!!!!!! I will win, I will win ............... Also got to take Ollie to dr's later but will try harder tomorrow !!!!
