    Thanks! :D

Did it come with mobile?! I bought one the other week.
I can't wait to open it!

I didn't know you had it as well.

My walls are bright yellow  and the skirting boards and radiator are green to tone it down a bit :o

Yep, came with a mobile, I've got a lightshow thing aswell tho:o.
3 of our walls are staying white and the black wall and curtains will get changed to something more suitable when he's born and everyone knows hes a boy.

The rooms a bit cramped just now cos the pram is in there until I clear out the understairs cupboard  and OH has built up the crib too which will be going into our room. I like to go in and touch things tho and wind up the mobile, take the clothes out the drawers and refold them and things like that, am so impatient!!!!

I keep meaning to venture on here and say hello, so erm... Hello

Hi and welcome! Is it your first?

Yes, in this case I would say edit said list but if we've not had one for a few days then just post the list!

Hi Karen not seen you in awhile! Oh, I wish mine would leak - at least then I'd know if they worked or not :o

    Hi Sami

The problem with this particular one is its advertised for older kids too - not just for little tiny ones so one would 'assume' it was safe even once the child can walk! I agree with you though and remember your pain!

Glam -yes, mobile, bumper, quilt, fitted sheet, light shade, wall pictures, erm....no border as first described but plenty of other stuff.

Congrats Dooleys and congrats to HypnoNu :)

Well I have had my first breast leakage this weekend!!:o I am a bit paranoid that it is going to happen in work and will be going around with wet patches on my front and nothing to change into!

Haven't yet purchased any breastpads and won't be anywhere near a shop that sells them for a while. DH gets a bit embarrassed about getting stuff like that so don't like to ask him. I shall have to make a special trip to a supermarket or something.

Labour and sticky vibes to all. I have to get back to work now:(
do you have any panty liners? you can cut one in half until you get to a shop :)

my OH gets a bit embarrassed but not so much since he bumped into a local rugby player buying breast pads for his wife too :p

JAM - the one I have is birth - toddler ;) I didn't use it for about 9mths though during that too big to just sit but too small to get in/out by himself

Happy Monday all! Where did the weekend go?!

I managed to get to an osteopath on Saturday and so am almost pain free now :D turns out was not my back at all but ligaments on the joint between my pelvis and spine (sacroid?).

All this talk of prams and nurseries - a long way off for me. Although me & DP put an offer in on a house this morning, just waiting to hear back. Here's hoping that our little boy might one day have a nice big bedroom of his own - and it will be one far off day as the place needs quite a bit of work but I am sure moving house, a new baby, builders and decorating all pretty much at the same time can't be that stressful, can it??!!

I am off for a shower and then food shopping whilst OH builds new furniture that we had delivvered this morning. Better staying out of his way as his stressed swearing stresses me out and we wind each other up!

Baby has it's daily dose of hiccups!! It's amazing, but amazingly annoying too. I can feel movement lower down in my pelvis/"foof" than before too, so I assume baby is moving down?? Someone please tell me it's a sign that I will have a baby soon and it's not just standard stuff for 34 weeks ha ha!

I am feeling movement really low down,in foof area, I am only 29 weeks but midwife says baby is head down and don't I know it..I felt all swollen and hot down below yesterday and Saturday. Hiccups are great but annoying at the same time arn't they, my bubba had them for aggges last night but I think it was my fault cos I gobbled my tea down in record fast time. Bad mummy!
love my little man he is amazing :j

Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp - I've had a round of toast, and a huge cheese sandwich since I last posted!

Oh for an OH who would be embarrassed about buying stuff. Mine isn't, he's too far the other way - "Do you need any of these pads? What about this type?" :rotfl:

    Congrats Dooleys :j :j

Apologies if you are leaking loads, in which case this might not be enough but I didn't leak at all until milk came in, then only a moderate amount, and I found a sheet of absorbant kitchen roll, folded into four and popped in the bra was more than enough to absorb any leaks. Anything with a plastic back, like a panty liner, can make the nips a bit sweaty, and the only time I used this kind of breast pad, I gave bubs thrush! You can buy breast pads with and without plastic backs as this is a common problem.
