Beenie,
Huge hugs for you. You have been really strong and will continue to be for babys sake. He is not worthy of your tears or your consideration. I'm always here if you need to talk, as is everyone I'm sure. I've got some strawberries and ice cream here, would you like to share?

Very proud mummy to Gorgeous baby girl - 29/09/09 :j
Thanks to all who directed me to Quidco - £289.30 since Nov 09 :beer:0 -
Thank you so much to all, makes me feel so much better to know i can come and rant here, friends in RL tend to just say "oh balls to him, you'll be fine" but they don't realise how hard it is, and how it makes you feel so much more lonely being pregnant
Everytime my phone goes off i think it's going to be him, and surprise surprise, it isn't.
I can feel some kicks from outside now, and got no one to share it with, he doesn't give a monkeys, didn't even comment on it today, he just looked at the scan pic and didn't say anything. I thought he'd say i'd got bigger, or touch my bump or something. Nothing!!!!
Oh and harley - yes to strawberries & ice cream!! *dribbles*0 -
Hi all. I had my 28 week MW appointment earlier so now have my MATB1 form and HIPG form (ready to post tomorrow) . Blood pressure and urine are fine (phew) need to wait for my blood test results. She listened to the heartbeat although bump kept kicking her thing for listening to the heartbeat - bump is one feisty baby!
Didn't get a solid answer about my pains saturday but she said to call up the Medicom number if it happens again.
I have seen three different midwives for each of my 3 appointments and I have to say all of them have been really nice which is such a relief.
Anyway I feel knackered now so may have a sleep on the sofa before going to bedNight all

Hi everyone
Im so glad im home from work, finished at 7pm today and at about 6pm i went to the toilet and nearly fell asleep in the toilet :rotfl:
When i go to the toilet i usually take ages to take advantage of my unlimited comfort breaks now im with child
My sister is coming round Friday for an indian so we're using the excuse that im 9 weeks and the baby officially becomes a fetus and no longer an embryo :j
Regarding the epilator, SIL has asked me to stop using it so she can practice using her new waxing kit on me! She's starting beauty therapy at college in sept:o0 -
Oh and to further add to my misery, my sisters dog was run over and killed this morning.
Sorry, i'll stop putting a downer on the thread now:eek:0 -
Hope everyone is OK tonight, so much has happened again!
Can I just check I can add myself to the EDD list or do I need to request to be added?
Not sure but felt strange bubbly fluttery moves in belly to my left on and off since last night, kind of like when you get a nerve trapped and can feel it near your eye but not even half as strong so not sure if its digestion or the baby, I guess I'll know later. Think I'm too early to be able to feel anything, probably just wishful thinking (15 weeks)
Is my birthday today and had the busiest day at work of the year so far, tomorrow will be worse as I have almost 100 jr doctors to process in one day. It sucks having your birthday at your buisiest time of year for work, but am happy I will def not be at work next year as will (just) be on maternity leave, or taking unused annual leave. Will be my first birthday not at work since I was 15, so 12 years next year- that has made me feel really old!
Am now gonna have a splurge at Boots on half price nappies, trying to stock up on offers and stuff even though got ages yet, think it must be worth doing whne nappies half price.
Off to London for the weekend, hopefully will be able to keep away after 9pm or will be a bit of a waste!
Oh, and I'm in Kings Lynn in Norfolk if there is anyone from near here

I know i had 3 failed ones before but they are hardly going to give me GA again unless it is an emergency.
Are you thinking of me? I have an anesthest team appointment at 28 weeks this is because they have been unable to wake me both times i have had an GA. I cant even handle the local anesthetics like novocane (?) at dentist - lol. The consultant just said the anathestics team would ask me what happend the last two times, check me over and then make a decision at what level of emergency they would use a GA if required. I have a bmi of over 35 and a heart that sometimes races / skips beats. I hope that is of some help? My hosp said they only do spinal blocks not GA so i suppose it is just a precaution?0 -
EA - I use to let a girl in work practice waxing on me! free waxing was fab - only legs and eyebrows though.
Once I went to a salon to have my armpits and bikini done - my armpits bled like mad and I was too chicken to have my bikini done! Was so sore, I couldn't put my arms down for ages!
Stick with my electric razor now!
Gemma - add urself on! Or Beenie can do it for you
Beenie - even bigger hugs to you!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
